A Day in Children's Ski School
The following outlines a typical day in the Children's Ski & Ride School
8:00 - 8:45 Check-In and Early Drop-off
- Parents complete the paperwork - emergency contact cards (front and back), release form, and rental form (if necessary). The lesson ticket and lift ticket or pass is attached with a zip tie to the student. Children come prepared and dressed to ski or ride. (See Tips for Parents)
- Children are supervised inside. Children play games, color and watch videos.
- Parent are responsible for storing children's street shoes.
8:45 - 9:45am Indoor Activities

Children get rental equipment, form groups, meet other kids and begin indoor lesson.

Children prepare to go outside, apply sunscreen and use restroom.
9:45 - 10am Clases are Formed and Children Go Outside

Children are initially grouped according to age and demonstrated abilities. Grouping occurs first by the verbal information obtained from the person dropping off the child, secondly by the children's verbal description of his or her skills, then finally and most importantly by a physical demonstration of their skills on the mountain.
10- 10:30 Skiing/Riding Ability is Evaluated
10:30 - 12:30 On-Snow Instruction

Classes ski/ride terrain appropriate for their ability, receive instruction and practice skills.

Classes will generally take a short break mid-morning to warm up or have a small snack.
12:30 - 1:30 Lunch
- Students eat lunch with their class and then either watch a short movie or do a learning activity in the Ski and Ride School facility.
1:30 - 3:30 On-Snow Instruction

Classes ski/ride terrain appropriate for their ability, receive instruction and practice skills.

Classes will generally take a short break mid-afternoon to warm up or have a small snack.
3:30 Check-Out (3-6 year olds)
3:45 Check-out (7-13 year olds)
4:00 - Late Check-Out
4:30 Rental shop closes
