4 Perfect Days - Singles

Day 1
Morning Grab a chocolate chip muffin and latte from Clint's Bakery on Main Street to get your motor running your first day in Breckenridge. Then, get out and enjoy the spectacular vistas of the Rocky Mountains. Breckenridge offers over 40 miles of paved bike trails, perfect for running, walking, biking or roller blading. Great Adventure Sports, located in the City Market shopping center (and along the bike path), can provide you with all your gear and rental needs.
Day An active morning in the high country leads to one thing; a good appetite! So return your gear and head next door to Mi Zuppa, serving a variety of fresh and healthy soups, sandwiches, wraps and paninis, freshly baked cookies and bread. Grab a gatorade and get ready for your afternoon adventure - It's a thrill. . . driving your own ATV over rugged mountain terrain. You'll go through mountain streams, experience breathtaking views of the Ten Mile Range, Continental Divide and 14,000 foot peaks. Want to let someone else do the driving? Explore the majestic Colorado backcountry in an open-top 4x4  driven by an experienced guide.
Evening If there's one restaurant you have to hit while you're here, its Downstairs at Erics, on Main Street. Chances are you've already heard about it. Quite possibly Breck's best pizza, burgers & rotisserie chicken - they've got it all, not to mention 120 beers, 25 of those on tap. Get there early as it tends to draw a crowd, but there's an arcade to entertain while you wait! Or, hold out for pizza-by-the-slice (served after 9:00 PM) to satisfy your late night cravings. Should trendy be more your style, head down to the North end of Main Street to Blue River Bistro where an array of award-winning pasta entrees will tempt your pallette, reservations are recommended. In recent years, the bistro has established itself as the premium late night spot, offering 75 original martinis and an eclectic calendar of live music.
Day 2
Morning Sleep in. Recover from your first night in Breckenridge. Don't forget to drink plenty of H2O - high altitude can make you even more dehydrated. A hearty dose of carbohydrates is also a good prescription for making the most out of a vacation at 9600 feet. Stop by Columbine Cafe just upstairs from Downstairs at Erics, for an over-the-top cinnamon roll or pancake as big as your head, where breakfast is served all day! After breakfast, hop across the street to Euro Deli where you'll be able to grab a sandwich for the backpack, as you'll be experiencing majestic waterfalls and historic ruins for the rest of the day.
Day From sweeping vistas, historic ruins and ore cars to waterfalls and close-up views of massive, rugged peaks, the Mohawk Trail is a great, 7mile trail that should not be missed. You can reach the trailhead by driving south out of Breckenridge on U.S. 9. As you reach the last stoplight on your way out of Breckenridge, you will travel 2.4 miles before your reach Spruce Creek Road. Turn right onto Spruce Creek Road and proceed for 1.2 miles to a well-marked parking area and the Spruce Creek Trailhead.
Evening The Breckenridge Brewery, at the south end of Main Street, is one of the local's favorite spots. Watch as award-winning beers are handcrafted by the brewers or dine on excellent pub fare at reasonable prices. After dinner, live it up a little and head a few doors down to Burke & Rileys for a true-poured Guinness. It's one of the most down-to-earth, friendly watering holes around. Whether sitting outside huddled around the fire pit or stewing among the warm, rich mahogany of the interior, you're sure to meet a few locals, or perhaps even the owners!
Day 3
Morning Jump start your day by having your fill at Daylight Donuts, located at the north end of Main Street. It's your typical no frills mountain breakfast - just basic eggs, hash browns and breakfast meats in a laid back atmosphere. Bring your Chaco's, beacuse a trip to Breckenridge is not complete without rafting one of Colorado's most exciting attractions, Brown's Canyon. This river trip is great for both first timers and experienced rafters. It has just the right amount of exciting whitewater with scenic views of 14,000-foot peaks and granite canyon walls.
Day Have a late lunch at the inexpensive Rasta Pasta for a little Jamaican zest before heading across the street to the oxygen bar. Feeling fatigued? The O2 Lounge (in La Cima Mall) can help rejuvenate the body before revving up for another day in the high country. Make sure a visit to Shirt Off My Back is on the day's agenda, as a trip to Breckenridge isn't a trip to Breckenridge without a t-shirt!
Evening Kudos are in order for Empire Burger, Breck's first "real" burger joint, which opened in June, and is located at the south end of Main Street in La Cima Mall. Aside from the obvious, this trendy eatery features handcut fries, oh-so-tasty onion rings and chocolate malts that might as well be dessert. It's quick and easy and just upstairs from where the party really gets started. Albeit small, Liquid Lounge is now Breck's premier night club and draws quite the weekend crowd, complete with DJ Crisp on Saturday nights.
Day 4
Morning After a hearty breakfast in the rustic charm of a local's favorite, The Prospector, venture over to the Breckenridge Recreation Center, located just north of Main Street. Check out the two climbing walls, racquetball court, indoor track and pool. There's even a waterslide! Here you'll find the local kids tearin' it up in the skate park and the waterlogged testing their paddling skills at the kayak park.
Day There's nothing like a frozen raspberry margarita to quench your afternoon thirst. Pair that with a Carnitas Burrito from Fiesta Jalisco on Main Street and you'll be set for an afternoon of people watching just across the street in the Blue River plaza. Catch free afternoon entertainment there on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons throughout the summer. Top off the afternoon with an ice cream cone or latte from Gretas.
Evening Hungry, but don't want to go out? Have Gourmet Cabby deliver fare directly to your door. After you've had your fix, finish off your Breckenridge experience with live music at Sherpa & Yeti's, located on Main Street.
