Breckenridge Recreation Center
The Breckenridge Recreation Center offers two climbing walls, an indoor pool and slide, basketball, racquetball and tennis courts and more. All services are available with the purchase of a one-day pass or punch card. (Kids 10 and younger need to be accompanied by an adult.) Speciality programs are also offered.

- Might Mite Climbing Wall
If your kids are climbing the walls, bring them down to the Recreation Center for Mighty Mite Climbing. This program is for kids ages 4-6 years offering them a unique challenge, physical activity and great fun!

- Friday Night Climb n' Swim
Every Friday night, kids ages 6-12 have a chance to explore the adventures of rock climbing and swimming. Climbing instruction mixed with an indoor pool and waterslide will be have your kids begging to come back!

Ice Skating
Kids of any age can enjoy the Stephen C. West Ice Arena located on Boreas Pass Road. The ice arena offers an indoor and outdoor ice rink which are open for public skating seven days a week. Skate rental and instruction are available on-site.

MiniMites Hockey
Throughout the year, these daily hockey classes get kids under 6 years old out on the ice and having fun in skates.

Eric's Arcade
From Pinball to Ms Pac Man, Downstairs at Eric's Arcade provides a fun activity for older kids and is located right on Main St.
Maggie Pond
Located at The Village at Breckenridge base area, the Maggie Pond offers an outdoor skating experience for the whole family. The pond is open all day until 10:00 PM (weather permitting). Skate rentals are offered on-site.
Carter Park
Take your sled, your mittens and your friends to Carter Park, home to one of the only sledding locations in town. Located at the south end of High Street and adjacent to Breckenridge Elementary School.
Mountain Top Children's Museum
With a new location, the Mountain Top Children's Museum offers children an opportunity to think outside the box and use their imaginations. "Where the Wild Things Are" is an example of interesting exhibits you'll find on your stroll through the museum. It's a perfect afternoon activity for learning and excitement for younger children.

Ski & Ride School
Breckenridge offers Ski & Ride school especially for children 3-12 years old. Children gain confidence and skills to tackle the slopes and get to spend the day with the school mascot, Ripperoo! Daily rotating themes encourage fun-filled adventure and help to educate participants on topics such as mountain ecology and skier and boarder safety. Full and half-day lessons for beginner, intermediate, and advanced children are offered from Peak 8, The Village at Breckenridge and Beaver Run base areas.

Kinderhut is a licensed day care center that accommodates children 6 weeks - 6 years old. They provide an infant nursery, toddler nursery as well indoor/outdoor activities for the bigger kids. Want to go workout but not sure what to do with the kids? Breckenridge Recreation Center offers "Bearly Big" childcare. While parent workout, professional childcare workers entertain the kids with numerous activities in world class facility. Childcare is provided for children ages 2mos - 6 years. Kid's Night Out
The Mountain Top Children’s Museum, Inc. offers a Kid’s Night Out program packed full of projects, art antics, and crazy experiments. Come explore nature, create from loose parts and use your noodle to figure things out. Each evening is based on a theme that offers children opportunities to be creative, inquisitive and adventurous.
