Grab an apple cinnamon bagel and coffee from Cool River Coffee House to get your motor running your first day in Breckenridge. It's located on Main Street, but 'hidden' behind the Swiss Haven along the riverwalk. Then head over to one of four Breckenridge Sports locations in town where you can pick up your ski or board rentals or get your own equipment tuned. (Tip: Save time and money by renting online at rentskis.com). Spend the morning warming up your snow legs on the greens and blues of Peaks 8 & 9. Or, explore the mountain on one of the free mountain tours offered for intermediate skiers/riders and above. Tours are open to intermediate skiers and above and depart daily at 10:00 AM from the Beaver Run and Peak 8 base areas. |

Make some turns and make your way to Vista Haus, at the top of the Colorado SuperChair. Here you'll find food-court style lunches, including Border Burritos and SubFusion, not to mention fantastic views of the Continental Divide. Then, refine your skills or learn a new sport like snowboarding or telemarking with the Breckenridge Ski & Ride School. |

The Breckenridge Brewery, at the south end of Main Street, is one of the local's favorite spots. Watch as award-winning beers are handcrafted by the brewers or dine on excellent pub fare at reasonable prices. After dinner, live it up a little and head a few doors down to Burke & Rileys for a true-poured Guinness. It's one of the most down-to-earth, friendly watering holes around. Whether sitting outside huddled around the fire pit or stewing among the warm, rich mahogany of the interior, you're sure to meet a few locals, or perhaps even the owners! |

Don't miss Daylight Donuts 'Daylight Special' on the north end of Main Street to jump start your second day in Breckenridge - eggs, bacon and a giant pancake - all for $3.79! Then, ride to the Continental Divide on your snowmobile to to experience breathtaking panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains. Tours include experienced guides, snowmobiles with hand warmers, easy operation instruction and plenty of playtime in mountain meadows. |

Have a late lunch at the Blue River Bistro where onion straws are the hot ticket as an appetizer, followed by Penne with Rock Shrimp. Then, spend the afternoon exploring all that Breckenridge has to offer. Wander the streets of this Victorian town for fabulous shopping; Big City Blues and Canary in a Clothesmine are trendy clothing boutiques, while Milagros of Colorado features handmade soaps; all worthy of note. |

Take a seat at Mountain Flying Fish's sushi bar for a most impressive dining experience above 9600 feet. The House Special roll is a must-try. Make your way over to Ridge Street for an evening of LIVE theatre. With more than 32 years of award-winning performances, from Shakespeare to today's most well-known playwrights, the Backstage Theatre offers shows designed for all ages and interests. After the theatre, stop by The Crown on Main Street for a relaxing nightcap featuring the Ghiradelli Martini. |

Rise and shine with Pecan Cinnamon Raisin French Toast or Huevos Rancheros at the Blue Moose, voted "Best Breakfast in Summit County." After your early rise, try something new for a change! Put away your skis and give snowboarding or telemarking a go. The Quicksilver Super6 chairlift on Peak 9 and Chair 7 on Peak 8 service excellent learning terrain for the beginner at any snowsport. |

By noon, you'll be craving charbroiled favorites, found at Ten Mile Station, located at the top of the Quicksilver Super6 chairlift. Then, wear a hard hat & hear the drills as you venture 1,000 feet into a century old, authentic gold mine - the Country Boy Mine. Tours are approximately 45 minutes long every hour on the hour. Be sure to meet one of the friendly burros that roam the mine site. |

Take an early evening carriage ride through town and end up at Steak & Rib where steaks and ribs are prime, hence the name, but the Crab Filet rivals the Chipolte Stuffed Shrimp as the locals favorite. If you're up for a night on the town, you can usually find local bands performing at Sherpa & Yetis, or head south on Main Street where you'll find Liquid Lounge. Albeit small, it is now Breck's premier night club and draws quite the weekend crowd, complete with DJ Crisp on Saturday nights. |

Grab a scrumptious chocolate chip muffin from Clints Coffehouse and make your way back up the hill so you can play on your favorite runs one more time. Be sure to catch a ride on the highest chairlift in North America! The new Imperial Express SuperChair reaches 12,840 feet and access 400 acres of famed expert and advanced intermediate terrain previously only accessible by a long hike. |

Kudos are in order for Empire Burger, Breck's first "real" burger joint, which is located at the south end of Main Street in La Cima Mall. Aside from the obvious, this trendy eatery features handcut fries, oh-so-tasty onion rings and chocolate malts that might as well be dessert. Then, go dog sledding! Mush your team of Siberian Huskies on a thrilling ride through the Arapahoe National Forest or just snuggle back under the blankets and leave the driving to the pros. Or, perhaps you'd rather not brave the elements at all. Head over to Sacred Tree on Ridge Street, where a deep-tissue massage is on the menu after an exhilarating morning of skiing or riding. |
